PlaySkool’s KOTA the Triceratops Is a Robotic Chick Magnet (With Video!)

November 9th, 2008 · No Comments

Kota the Trike

PlaySkool’s Triceratops may be aimed at kids, but when it comes out this fall, it’s biggest fans could be adult women. And kids will love him, too. KOTA’s back doubles as a spring-loaded saddle, capable of holding tykes up to 60 pounds.

KOTA also packs in a whole lot of advanced robotics. His body is covered with 11 different sensors that detect when you pet or scratch him. Such signs of affection earn roars of delight in return. And if you stick food or hands in KOTA’s mouth (like the smaller Ugobe Pleo, he comes with a fake leaf), he’ll chomp down while making crunching noises.
