Loading ...Upon first glancing at this little mod, my initial thought was shock. They really still make tin cigarette boxes? I mean, I don’t smoke but I did work in a gas station that sold a lot of cigarettes a very long time ago. I don’t actually recall seeing a single tin of cigarettes.
I’m still just blown away that Lucky Strikes have a tin box, maybe it’s just an occasional thing. Anyway, this small little boom box was made using garage sale speakers. I’m sure the sound quality is oh so phenomenal.
On the inside they use an old MP3 player and an LM1877n-9 amp chip. If you’re desperate for some mobile tunes and don’t really care about how it ends up looking this would be a great mod for a rainy day.
